Ski and Snowboard Aspen Snowmass
With access to four mountains from a single lift ticket, Aspen Snowmass is one of the best ski destinations in North America.
Snow Tubing
Head to the tubing runs at Elk Camp on Snowmass Mountain. The tubing center includes four lift-served lanes of tubing excitement for adults and children. On Friday nights in mid-winter, Elk Camp celebrates Ullr Nights with extended hours, live entertainment, and more.
Cross-Country Skiing & Snowshoeing
Aspen Snowmass boasts over 60 miles of free Nordic trails, easily accessed right in the heart of Snowmass from the Snowmass Cross-Country Ski & Snowshoe Center. Here, a full range of ski school programs, ski, sled, and snowshoe rentals, guided tours, a retail shop and repair services are available.
Snowmobiling

Dog Sledding
Let a team of Alaskan sled dogs guide you through the pristine Snowmass wilderness. Winding trails, experienced drivers and comfortable sleds combine to make this the winter excursion of a lifetime.
Ice Skating
Snowmass offers a free community-supported ice-skating rink at the Snowmass Rodeo Grounds on Brush Creek Road. There is also free ice-skating, including free rentals, at the new ice rink in Base Village, which is open 12:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Ashcroft Ski Touring Center
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the heart of the White River National Forest in the upper reaches of the Castle Creek Valley, around the ghost mining town of Ashcroft.
Rock Climbing Wall
Located in Base Village, the 50' climbing wall has 3 lanes so up to six people can climb at the same time. Open 12:00 - 7:00 p.m. daily. Tickets are $10 per 30 minutes, $5 per extra session when purchased at the same time. Purchase tickets at any Snowmass ticket window.
